Did you see that big orange thing in the sky this week? It's been a while since we've seen it but that was THE ACTUAL SUN. With British Summer Time officially starting today, and us spending a lot more time in our homes and gardens because of THAT virus, it's time to start thinking about styling your garden ready for summer.
Garden Furniture

My garden furniture in the photo above is the Windsor 3 in natural weave from Moda Furnishings. This set is amazing because it's so substantial, it's like having your living room furniture out in the garden. They also have a huge range of dining sets, fire pits, and sun loungers too if you want to expand your range.
If you're in the market for a slightly cheaper and more compact garden set, this modular set from Mano Mano that can be arranged in multiple different ways is a great substitute.
If you're not looking to upgrade your garden furniture, an egg chair or hanging chair is a really fun and stylish addition for your garden this summer. They look super unique and you can even weave fairy lights through them to create a cosy, atmospheric corner. Here are two beautiful chairs I've fallen in love with recently.
A beautiful way of separating your seating area is by placing it under a pergola. This nicely zones the space, and you can create a truly beautiful area by adding fairy lights, hanging baskets, or climbing plants to it. Here are some pergola kits you can purchase and build in your own garden.
Lighting
Creating ambience with lighting is key for achieving a stylish looking summer garden. Not only does it look good, it will feel cosy and relaxing too. Lights4fun have a huge range of plug in, battery and solar powered lights. These are some of my favourites:
Summer Planters
No summer garden is complete without some plants! Continuing the rattan trend, I am a huge fan of these rattan planters from The Basket Company. I love the natural element they bring to a space and the way the trio sit so nicely together. This set from Made.com are also gorgeous.
Accessories
We're all dreaming of the days we can get together with friends and family in the garden again for parties and summer barbecues. Make sure you're prepared with all the right stylish accessories you need to throw an awesome party, or to just relax and enjoy the garden on your own.
So there you have it, my list of essentials for styling your garden ready for summer. Be sure to tag me on Instagram @karlylouise_x in your garden pictures!
